Our stay was very delightful, truly enjoyed enjoyable breakfasts.
The location was great and unbeatable, next to Erebuni's nearby and easily accessible. Had nice dainties at Mon Cafe, located not too far from the hotel. Had good sleep at the family suite with a spotless bathroom. Coffee and tea making equipment, a fridge, and glassware were available...

Magnificent and absolutely perfect location to Yerevan Opera Theatre. Spacious room, big bed and large bathroom. Outstanding food for generous and enjoyable breakfast with local products.
Wi-Fi was slow.

Great location in the centre of Yerevan, just off the main square while the side street location means it is also quiet. The room and hotel are spotlessly clean and the furnishings new but designed in another era. As I was traveling on my own, I had a single room which was at the back of the hotel. While the size of the room was OK, it was a bit gloomy. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was huge. I did see the double rooms and they were light, spacious and very pleasant so if you can afford it, I would suggest you upgrade to a double room. The breakfast was OK, but there wasn't much left if you arrived late.
Staff are a mixed bag. The guy looking after breakfast didn't smile or acknowledge me the whole week I was there. The receptionists were ok but not that helpful. I had an early morning check out to catch a morning flight, but on paying the bill both my credit cards were declined (the cards worked fine in Dubai later that same day so the cards were not the problem). The receptionist just shrugged, but the young doorman offered to escort me to nearby ATM machines all of which were out of action. He then rang a local supermarket to check that they were open as they had numerous ATM machines in the foyer of the supermarket. After several false starts we finally found an ATM that was both working and accepted my card. The doorman then organised a taxi and told me what I should pay. So don't leave paying your bill till checkout.

Spacious rooms that provide a comfortable escape. Breakfast spread offers a variety of options to fuel up for a day of exploration.
Room sizing discrepancies led to misunderstandings. Advertised 40 sq. Rooms don't match the actual measurements provided. Some shuttle arrangements had mix-ups, causing confusion upon arrival.

Recommend it for solo travelers
The location was perfect! It was just a short walk to Republic Square, where all the action is. I also found the room to be very spacious, with a balcony that was a nice touch for some fresh air after a long day. The staff were surprisingly helpful, allowing me to check in early since my flight landed at dawn.
The price was on the higher side, but for what you get, it was still acceptable.

The hotel was clean and recently refurbished. Liked the blackout curtains - essential in the summer sun in Yerevan. Liked the free wifi available in rooms. This service was uninterrupted and reliable. The breakfast was reasonable - basic continental and enough choice to keep me happy. Location is 5 meters from Republic Square. Very convenient.
The air conditioning was very poor. I complained at reception- they sent someone to change the direction of the vents so they pointed down into the room. This was not the problem though! The problem was that the air con barely cooled the air. It was basically a fan. I was really unhappy about paying for air on and getting a fan. Poor English of the staff meant that they were unable to grasp the fact that the air on was not cooling the room (I woke u sweating for the three nights we were there even though it was on the 5degrees setting!) The air con remained poor performing throughout our stay (the vent in the hallway outside of our room blew out colder air than in our room). The reception staff were very poor. We asked them for some basic info on a journey into Georgia by taxi. The girl shrugged her shoulders and said 'this is a hotel not a tour company'. I have never stayed in a hotel where reception telephoning a taxi company and finding out prices for guests was a problem. At Erubuni it was a problem. The girl was utterly useless. I was stunned at the lack of service on this issue. We had been let down by a local tour company and needed to get back to Tbilisi. The hotel was not willing to be of any use at all. Do not expect any service at this hotel whatsoever. The hotel provides a kettle and tea/coffee in rooms. There was, however, no mini tubs of milk or cream. I rang reception and asked for some milk for my coffee (other hotels provide milk/cream along with the tea and coffee). I was told to collect some from the bar opposite reception. I went down five floors in the lift to collect. Amazingly I had to pay 500amd for the milk to go with the complimentary tea/coffee. This was milk poured into a glass from an open carton kept in the bar fridge. I was really shocked but paid as I wS tired and just wanted a cuppa. This incident just summed up how poor the hotel is at any sort of service. I definitely would not stay here again.
